Job summary

Harris invites motivated students to join as a Project Manager Intern in South Bend, IN for Summer 2027. You will translate classroom lessons into real-world construction skills, supporting all phases from pre-job through closeout with hands-on opportunities.

You will gain exposure to estimating, contracts, permits, safety, purchasing, submittals, and project tracking, while developing communication and teamwork in a national contractor setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents
• Demonstrated proficiency of math and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-job activities including estimating, contracts, permits, and insurance certificates.
• Support during construction with safety, purchasing, submittals, tracking materials and equipment, field personnel tracking, productivity tracking, and change-order submittals.
