Job summary

Harris is offering a Construction Project Manager Intern position for Summer 2027 in Minnesota. The role provides hands-on opportunities to translate classroom lessons into real-life construction project management experience, covering pre-job activities, during construction tasks, and closeout processes.

Interns will work across estimating, job setup, contracts, permits, safety, purchasing, submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation, while developing strong math, analytical, and communication

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Interest in pursuing a career in construction and project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Demonstrated proficiency of math and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to estimating, job setup, contracts, permits and insurance certificates.
• Assist with safety, purchasing, submittals, tracking materials and equipment, productivity tracking, change orders, RFIs.
• Assist with project closeout, OM manuals, as-record drawings and warranties.
