Job summary

Metric Geo, a 100% employee-owned construction contractor serving the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, is seeking an experienced Controller to own accounting and financial operations. The role partners with senior leadership and operational teams to drive profitability and financial health.

You will lead month-end to audit, oversee project costing and WIP, develop budgets and forecasts, and ensure internal controls and GAAP compliance in a hands-on construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business is required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Controller/Assistant Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
• Knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, WIP, and project reporting.
• Experience with GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, billing, collections, and general ledger.
