Job summary

Financial Additions, partnering with an established construction company, seeks a hands-on Controller in Weatherford, TX. You will oversee all accounting operations, manage month-end close, and mentor staff while partnering with leadership on cash flow and forecasting.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in accounting with construction industry experience, job costing and WIP reporting, and familiarity with Sage300 or Sage Intacct. Office-based role in Weatherford.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience is required.
• Understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, and construction contracts is required.
• Construction industry experience is required.
• Sage300 or Sage Intacct experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Cash Management.
• Leads month-end and year-end close process.
• Manages project accounting and job cost reporting.
• Prepares cash flow forecasts, assists with budgeting and forecasting.
• Leads and mentors the accounting staff.
• Manages treasury and banking relationships.
