Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or physical science with related experience.
• 7–10 years managing a shared cleanroom facility or equivalent environment.
• Hands‑on experience with facility infrastructure and multi‑tool fabrication workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, scientific, and operational leadership for the Utah Nanofab cleanroom.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for equipment upgrades and research initiatives.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, process development, and safety compliance.
• Direct user training, SOPs, and safety documentation.
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and student staff; manage budgets and billing.
