Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Building Engineer to maintain and repair building systems at a major Dallas facility. You’ll work on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC systems, ensuring reliability and safety while meeting energy efficiency goals.

You will support preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and review system inspections. Strong knowledge of codes, safety procedures, and CMMS usage will help you mentor colleagues and keep operations running

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
Universal EPA/CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Experience with CMMS and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC systems.
Align with codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations and work safety.
Maintain energy management programs and ensure systems operate efficiently.
Support preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
Review inspections of building systems to ensure operation within design capabilities.
