Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer in Dallas, TX to monitor, maintain, and repair building system operations across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems. The role supports preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure safety and reliability within the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or trade school diploma with relevant experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire/life safety, and control systems.
• Ensure building operations comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs.
• Follow policies for safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials; keep the workplace safe and clean.
• Review building systems to ensure operation within design capabilities and environmental targets.
