Crane 1 Services seeks a Branch Operations Manager who leads a safe, high-performing team and acts as a player/coach in a fast-paced, service-based environment. You will recruit, hire and train technicians while leveraging Crane 1’s support resources to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

This Michigan-based role demands hands-on leadership, effective scheduling, and the ability to manage profit and loss across branch activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of proven branch management experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Experience with safety and operations in service/industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in a safe work environment and safety reporting.
• Answer service calls for breakdowns and repairs.
• Oversee field resource allocation, manpower and scheduling.
• Conduct daily huddles to align objectives for weekly/monthly goals.
• Support sales to meet growth objectives for the branch.
• Maintain relationships with customers through exceptional service.
• Train and mentor service technicians.
• Manage profit and loss for the branch.
• Approve timecards submitted by technicians.
• Recruitment and retention for the branch.
• Deliver revenue and gross margin objectives.
• Engage with customers to plan maintenance needs.
• Generate repair quotes and parts from service calls.
• Schedule periodic customer site visits to maintain relationships.
• Conduct site safety audits.
