AlphaTech Research Corporation in American Fork, UT is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support engineering and facility-related projects in a fast-paced environment. You will work with design engineers and senior leaders to deliver projects involving laboratory spaces, technical systems, and regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fundamental understanding of chemical hazards.
• Strong organizational and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technically with design engineers.
• Willingness to be hands-on and learn new areas (facilities, safety, logistics, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of engineering and facility-related projects.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including vendor communication, purchasing, and tracking.
• Manage logistics, including shipping/receiving and handling of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Support laboratory setup, equipment coordination, and facility readiness.
• Assist with OSHA compliance and safe work practices as new hazards are introduced to various projects.
• Track project progress and help resolve issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain organized documentation and project records.
• Participate in meetings and communicate updates across teams.
