Job summary

Crossland Construction Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent. You will oversee all site activities, maintain safety, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction management or equivalent, plus verifiable superintendent experience. Drug screen, physical, and background checks are required for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Requires verifiable experience as a superintendent.
• Must understand schedules and manage projects on time and on budget.
• Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and materials.
• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or equivalent required.
• Drug screen, physical and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the work of the assistant superintendent, field engineers, craft employees, and all subcontractors.
• Determines work priorities and coordinates activities to keep the project on schedule.
• Oversees contract terms and conditions and maintains budget control.
• Allocates work among employees and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Introduces new trades and collaborates with management to ensure alignment with plans.
• Creates a safe work environment and enforces safety policies.
• Acts as liaison to the owner and coordinates plans with the owner.
• Sources materials, places orders, and coordinates deliveries to match progress.
• Maintains inventory and tools, and documents daily reports.
• Writes short- and long-term schedules and tracks progress.
• Leads weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors.
