Job summary

PacAero Agawam is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead day-to-day accounting across Agawam and Norton, MA. You will partner with site leadership, oversee month-end close, budgeting, inventory valuation, and internal controls, ensuring GAAP compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Based primarily in Agawam, this onsite position involves collaboration with Operations, Contracts, Program Management, and Supply Chain to drive accurate financial reporting and informed business

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ERP systems.
• Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Manage cost accounting, including standard and job costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Assist with fixed assets depreciation and capital reporting.
