Job summary

PacAero Agawam seeks an Assistant Controller to lead day-to-day accounting for Agawam and Norton, MA units. You will supervise accounting teams, drive month-end close, and partner with site leadership to connect operations to financial results.

The role emphasizes internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, inventory costing, and SOX compliance where applicable in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, financial statements, and reporting.
• Oversee GL, reconciliations, and cost accounting processes.
• Support audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and capital reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Contracts, PM, and Supply Chain.
