Job summary

Altus Community Healthcare in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Controller to own the full AP and close processes across multiple entities. You will manage monthly closes, consolidation, revenue recognition, and intercompany accounting while partnering with FP&A and operations.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting, solid US GAAP knowledge (ASC 606/842), experience with NetSuite and Excel, and leadership of a back-office team; industry-specific revenue nuances are a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting, including public accounting and team leadership.
• Multi-entity consolidation experience including intercompany and non-controlling interest.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close across all entities and manage the close calendar.
• Review consolidation, intercompany eliminations and equity rollforward.
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 and related billing reconciliations with GoRev.
• Oversee AP, treasury and tax oversight and liaise with external tax advisors.
• Maintain internal controls, audit readiness and PBC deliverables.
• Develop and mentor the back-office bookkeeping team and outsourced partners.
