Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Apprentice Engineer (Union) to support operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment at assigned properties.

Responsibilities include assisting with HVAC, plumbing, pumps, electrical work, replacement of building finishes, basic carpentry, and adherence to safety training. Must be available for on-site tasks and embrace a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to assist with troubleshooting and repairs of building systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including HVAC, plumbing, pumps, electrical and plumbing equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, and building equipment, and assist with modification of systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes and perform basic carpentry as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and support fire and life safety system functions as assigned.
• Operate tools and equipment and use building automation and mobile devices for work orders.
