Job summary

Chameleon Integrated Services is actively bidding on a proposal to provide Cyberspace Operations and Development for the Enterprise (CODE) services under the DC3 TABO requirement. The AI/ML and MLOps Lead will be hands-on, driving the technical solution from data readiness through production deployment in highly regulated federal environments.

The role requires production-focused ML leadership, TS/SCI clearance eligibility preferred, U.S. Citizenship, and is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ML lifecycle ownership from problem to live deployment.
• Experience building and maintaining data prep pipelines and feature engineering.
• Experience with automated MLOps tracking, monitoring, and drift alerts.
• Knowledge of version control, containerized deployments, and CI/CD integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across the ML lifecycle, from use-case analysis to validation.
• Lead data preparation, cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering efforts.
• Evaluate models, perform training, and tune performance to mission metrics.
• Deploy validated models to hybrid-cloud and on-prem environments in production.
• Set up automated monitoring of model health and data drift over time.
• Enforce DevSecOps controls and rigorous governance across AI assets.
• Ensure AI models follow data governance policies and baseline architectures.
