Job summary

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive Agile ceremonies, and ensure secure integration of ML capabilities into mission systems.

The role requires hands-on ML expertise (reinforcement learning, neural networks, deep learning, CV) and the ability to mentor engineers while coordinating with stakeholders on technical designs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, machine learning, AI, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of ML and software engineering experience, incl. leading teams/workstreams.
• Experience as Scrum Master and/or Product Owner on an Agile team.
• Hands-on ML experience: reinforcement learning, neural networks, deep learning, computer vision.
• Experience in cyber, adversarial AI, or communications domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical execution for a multidisciplinary team.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, backlog, acceptance criteria, and progress updates.
• Design, train, evaluate, and improve ML models (RL, DL, CV).
• Define experiment plans and data requirements linked to operational needs.
• Build reproducible ML pipelines for data prep, training, testing, deployment, monitoring.
• Integrate models into secure applications and mission systems with reliability and scalability.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists and improve Agile practices.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and stakeholders to align designs and releases.
• Present approaches, tradeoffs, results, and risks to teams and government customers.
