Job summary

NT Concepts in the Washington DC Metro area is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy ML/CV solutions for national security missions in a hybrid VA environment.

You will prototype to production ML workflows, work with mission partners, and apply MLOps practices using MLflow/Kubeflow, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Active TS/SCI clearance is required or must be eligible, with location options Vienna, VA / Chantilly, VA and flexible remote arrangements.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Hands-On experience deploying ML models into production.
• Deep learning & CV: strong Python and frameworks (PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow, NumPy).
• ML lifecycle & MLOps: Docker, Kubernetes, and ML lifecycle platforms (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker).
• Cloud & DevOps foundations: AWS, Azure or GCP; CI/CD; Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Prototype to production: take CV models from experimentation to containerized production microservices.
• Mission alignment: translate real-world operational challenges into ML requirements.
• MLOps & pipeline automation: build and optimize data prep, training, validation, versioning, deployment, monitoring.
• Model development & tuning: train, fine-tune, evaluate DL models for CV tasks (detection, classification, segmentation).
• System integration: collaborate with engineers and cloud architects to fit ML into secure cloud infra.
• Optimization & governance: monitor drift, ensure secure coding and reliability.
