Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC seeks a highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer with an active security clearance to deliver high-quality code components powering the services, servers, distributed systems, and backend architecture for the U.S. Public Sector.

The role sits in CGS’s Data and AI practice in the DC Metro Area, collaborating with clients to develop, deploy, and modernize data estates and pipelines while pursuing ongoing training and certifications to stay at the cutting

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and an active secret level security clearance or higher is required.
• Ability to be at client site full time in Washington, DC
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in machine learning, data science, statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, information systems, or similar field preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience with machine learning-delivery responsibilities such as: Deliver high-quality code components to power services, servers, distributed systems, and backend architecture; Incorporate AI, ML, and CV capabilities into solutions; Experience in object detection and CV models such as YOLO, MMDetection, RCNN, SSD, FPN, RetinaNet; Experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML/MLlib, Jupyter.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality code components that power services, servers, distributed systems, and backend architecture.
• Partner with Engineers, Artists, Producers and Designers.
• Incorporate AI, ML and Computer Vision into designs of products and services.
• Drive ML-related solutions based on requirements and resources.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to evaluate data pipelines and construct data stores.
• Develop algorithms, frameworks, and models or leverage tools to solve problems.
• Deploy ML solutions and scale methodologies.
• Present findings and solutions to clients and team members.
• Stay updated on ML advances in industry and academia.
• Collaborate to identify object detection, OCR, automation, predictive modeling, and NLP use cases.
