A leading technology consulting firm located in Jersey City is seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead. This hands-on role focuses on the implementation of an enterprise AI governance programme, dealing directly with Privacy and Security leadership. Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in governance or related fields, with strong credibility in regulated environments like Insurance or Financial Services, and possess excellent stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in governance, risk management, privacy, security, or compliance roles.
• Demonstrated experience implementing governance programmes.
• Strong credibility with CISO, CRO, Privacy Officer, and Legal leadership.
• Deep understanding of regulated environments (Insurance or Financial Services).
• Working knowledge of AI risk, model governance, and cybersecurity controls.
• Proven ability to build scalable operating models, policies, and control frameworks.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Co-lead the AI governance programme with the client’s Privacy & Data Protection leadership.
• Own the execution of AI governance across policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
• Establish AI intake, risk evaluation, approval, and monitoring workflows.
• Translate regulatory expectations into practical governance controls.
• Define governance forums, roles, RACI, escalation paths, and decision authorities.
• Ensure governance integration across relevant teams.
• Drive programme cadence, milestones, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Prepare the organisation for BAU transition at programme completion.
