Drata is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to head a new analytics engineering team focused on in-product analytics, AI features, and a solid data foundation. You will code, design systems, and ship production AI alongside a tight group of engineers while setting direction, unblocking the team, and growing into leadership.

The role emphasizes practical AI engineering, strong data fundamentals, and multi-tenant data access at scale, with an emphasis on delivering trustworthy, fast experiences.

Qualifikationen

• At least one agent or LLM-powered system shipped to production end-to-end.
• Working knowledge of prompts, tool use, retrieval, and structured outputs.
• Understanding of latency, cost, and quality tradeoffs in LLM-based systems.
• Evals: hands-on experience designing and building evals for AI systems.

• Write code, design systems, and review PRs.
• Lead a small team of engineers and grow it.
• Set AI and data direction for analytics.
• Define eval-driven development and metrics.
