Job summary

Lamex Foods, Inc. is seeking an ambitious AI Consultant to build and scale an enterprise AI function within our Digital & Technology team in Bloomington, MN.

You will partner with CIO and business leaders to turn strategic AI ideas into practical, secure solutions that deliver measurable value. You'll design prototypes, implement workflows across supply chain, finance, and operations, and establish governance, training, and adoption programs to drive real business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise systems, ERP, front office, data, analytics, automation, or technology transformation.
• 3+ years designing or implementing AI, generative AI, automation, analytics, intelligent agents, or decision‑support solutions.
• 1–2+ years of practical experience building with or deploying generative AI, Copilot tools, LLM APIs, intelligent agents, or Power Platform workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or related platforms.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, intelligent agents, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated ability to reduce manual work, improve reporting, automate workflows, or increase operational efficiency.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit workflows and identify bottlenecks; recommend AI‑driven solutions across functions.
• Prototype AI tools, intelligent agents, and automated workflows.
• Integrate AI capabilities with ERP, B2B/B2C, databases, and analytics platforms.
• Lead internal training, usage standards, and an AI governance program.
• Ensure security, least privilege access, privacy, and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
