Responsibilities

• Own Lam’s applied intelligence architecture and roadmap across frontier, daily-driver, commercial, open-weight, fine-tuned, specialized, and physics or simulation-based models.
• Translate requirements into deployable intelligence solutions (model selection, routing, retrieval).
• Design model-agnostic interfaces and abstraction layers to reduce vendor lock-in.
• Define evaluation systems for grounded correctness, performance, reliability, safety, latency, and cost.
• Create patterns for fine-tuning, LoRA/adapters, distillation, synthetic data, prompting, caching, and inference optimization.
• Architect closed-loop learning systems to improve models, software, and workflows over time.
• Embed governance by design with identity, scope, provenance, auditability, and oversight.
• Connect intelligence with enterprise knowledge, software tools, APIs, simulation, and digital twins.
