Job summary

Synovus is seeking an AI & Process Automation Analyst to build automation, AI-enabled tools, and data-driven solutions that reduce manual effort and increase capacity across the program. This hands-on role works with business stakeholders and partners with enterprise Technology to scale solutions using Python, Power Automate, Copilot, and SQL, while ensuring governance and audit compliance.

The role requires strong coding, low-code platform experience, and the ability to translate technical work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in automation, data analysis, business intelligence, or software/scripting development.
• Experience with Python and SQL to build automations and data solutions.
• Experience with low-code/automation platforms such as Power Automate or Power Apps.
• Experience with AI tools like Copilot and generative AI workflows.
• Ability to explain technical work to non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to internal partners; resolves automation, data, and AI tool issues.
• Designs, builds, tests, and implements automation and AI-enabled solutions using Python, Power Automate, Power Platform, Copilot, and other approved tools.
• Automates recurring reporting, data collection, notifications, and manual processes to reduce effort and create capacity.
• Develops self-contained AI use cases that do not require major system changes.
• Develops BRDs and Solution Design documentation for each automation.
