Job summary

Syntas is seeking an Operations Automation Specialist to design and deploy AI-enabled automation across telephony, data entry, internal comms, accounting, and cross-department processes. You will work with operations teams nationwide to identify opportunities, craft scalable solutions, and deploy reliable workflows that minimize manual effort.

The role emphasizes unstructured task handling with AI, end-to-end process mapping, and seamless integration with existing systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building automation solutions
• Strong Python proficiency with APIs and data processing
• Hands-on experience with Zapier, n8n, Make, Power Automate
• Understanding of API integration patterns and webhooks
• Experience with document processing including OCR and data extraction
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and LLM-based automation
• Knowledge of CRM, ERP, accounting software
• Experience with SQL and database operations
• Understanding of telephony concepts: VoIP, SIP, IVR
• Excellent communication and remote work skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze client processes to identify automation opportunities and quantify impact
• Design end-to-end automation solutions that integrate with existing systems
• Implement workflow automation using platforms like Zapier, n8n, Make, and custom code
• Build AI-powered document processing using OCR, LLMs, and structured extraction
• Develop telephony integrations with VoIP systems, IVR platforms, and AI voice services
• Create data pipelines that synchronize information across CRM, ERP, accounting, and operations
• Implement error handling, retry logic, and monitoring for production workflows
• Design human-in-the-loop processes for automation requiring oversight
• Collaborate with client teams to gather requirements and iterate on solutions
• Document automation workflows and train client teams on operation
• Monitor performance and optimize for reliability and efficiency
• Stay current with automation tools, AI capabilities, and integration platforms
• Contribute to internal frameworks and best practices
