Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift in Addison, IL (60101). The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time delivery while developing a culture of accountability and teamwork on a fast-paced manufacturing floor.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, mentor employees, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all 2nd shift manufacturing operations and production activities.
• Ensure a safe working environment and policy compliance.
• Drive production performance, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, scrap, and rework.
• Coach, mentor, and develop production employees.
• Conduct training, performance discussions, and safety meetings.
• Support staffing and workforce development initiatives.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
• Maintain accountability for shift performance and facility operations.
• Serve as primary leadership presence on 2nd shift.
• Step in and assist employees when needed.
