Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Hobart, Indiana is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hand to join a premier, tech-forward organization. The role offers a full-time schedule, supportive team, and a compensation package aligned with MGMA benchmarks.

You will provide surgical and non-surgical care for hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow conditions, work in a high-volume clinic, and participate in a robust call rotation with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Indiana Medical License with CSR/DEA registration
• Proficiency in orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with athletic trainers and physical therapists

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for hand, wrist, forearm and elbow conditions
• Clinic patients per day: 30
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform complex hand and upper extremity surgeries including tendon repairs and nerve decompression
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for arthritis, Dupuytren's contracture, and congenital hand differences
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma including revascularization and replantation when applicable
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joints
