Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem area seeks a full-time Occupational Therapist for the Outpatient Rehabilitation: Hand department. The role includes a 40-hour work week with a 4-hour Saturday shift every 8 weeks. A BS/MS in OT, current state licensure and CPR/BLS are required. You will assess, treat, document, and help improve care quality while supporting team objectives.

Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus are available; benefits are included per Advocate Health policy.

Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. degree from accredited occupational therapy school.
Current licensure in the state of practice.
CPR certification (Basic Life Support, Level C).

Responsibilities

Adheres to hospital standards and promotes teamwork through communication and policy adherence.
Provides comprehensive patient care assessment and treatment with functional goals.
Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.
Meets department productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient/department needs.
Participates in process management to improve quality and efficiency of services.
Promotes professional development and shares clinical expertise with staff and students.
