Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree from accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current licensure in the state where you will practice.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C, is required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and policies, promotes teamwork, and communicates effectively with staff and patients.
• Provides patient care assessments and treatments with professional judgment and goal-directed plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and ICD-10 codes as needed.
• Meets department productivity and budget expectations and adjusts schedules to patient/department needs.
• Participates in process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and shares clinical knowledge with colleagues and students.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, physicians, and staff, ensuring understanding of care plans.
• Delivers age-appropriate patient care and updates knowledge of growth and aging-related care.
