Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for the Department: 37534 AMC Burlington - Outpatient Rehabilitation: Southern Lakes. This full-time position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour, with 40 hours per week and three to four 10-hour days.

The role focuses on outpatient hand therapy and may involve learning specialty skills such as lymphedema management.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state where you work.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 90 days if required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and evaluates patient abilities impacting daily living.
• Establishes a plan of care and implements treatment; fabricates devices or splints as needed.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts treatment plans; communicates progress to physicians and teammates.
• Completes documentation per department policy including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
