Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking motivated occupational and physical therapists to advance their practice in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation with mentorship, advanced training, and hands‑on practice. The role emphasizes evidence‑based, patient‑centered care for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, while delivering exceptional customer service in a collaborative team environment.

Qualified candidates will have NY OT licensure (or eligibility), hands‑on hand therapy

Qualifications

• Hold a license (or be license eligible) to practice Occupational or Physical Therapy in the State of New York.
• Completed a Level II fieldwork placement or outpatient rotation in hand therapy OR equivalent experience during clinical education.
• If transitioning from another practice area, demonstrate a commitment to hand therapy through continuing education coursework or certifications in upper extremity rehabilitation.
• Are excited about working toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with the support of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Set clear expectations for patients’ clinical progress while providing evidence‑based, patient‑centered care for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
• Maintain a high standard of clinical excellence while delivering 5‑star customer service and collaborating with the team.
