Qualifikationen

• Active state Occupational Therapist license.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred; candidates pursuing it encouraged.
• 3–5+ years hand therapy experience including post-surgical and upper-extremity cases.
• Expertise in upper-extremity evaluation, splint fabrication, and evidence-based treatment planning.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cases with autonomy.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care.
• Team-oriented and able to thrive in outpatient setting.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations focused on upper-extremity function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain.
• Treat a wide range of post-surgical and complex upper-extremity conditions.
• Deliver manual therapy and evidence-based upper-extremity interventions.
• Design and fabricate custom orthoses and splints for complex upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and activity modification.
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Support and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides, as applicable.
• Contribute to clinical mentorship and best-practice development within the team.
