Job summary

MOTION PT Group is recruiting for occupational therapy hand specialists at our Lefferts Gardens clinic in Brooklyn. This role supports a busy hand therapy program with mentorship, specialized upper-extremity care, and pediatric opportunities.

We offer a hands-on environment with experienced OTs and CHTs, a mentorship program, twice-weekly education, and weekly one-on-one mentorship, plus AI-enabled documentation support and multiple career pathways.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice).
• CHT preferred or eligible: 4,000 hours hand therapy, 3 years practice, awaiting board exam; or Level II fieldwork in hand therapy with 2+ years outpatient hand therapy as licensed OT.
• Experience with upper-extremity diagnoses; pediatric caseload interest.
• CPR and first aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical history and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose patients by observing movements and listening to concerns.
• Use exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility.
• Record patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
