Job summary

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy in New York is seeking motivated occupational and physical therapists specialized in hand and upper extremity rehab. You will mentor, train, and practice hands-on with a focus on evidence-based care for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions.

You will develop individualized plans, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to drive outcomes while enjoying strong mentorship, ongoing training, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY OT/PT license or be license eligible.
• Completed Level II fieldwork in hand therapy or outpatient rotation.
• Intent to pursue Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with team support.
• Hand therapy focus during education; strong clinical foundation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and progress individualized treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, custom orthotic fabrication, and patient education.
• Empower patients with home programs and strategies that support their functional goals and recovery.
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional outcomes.
