Qualifications

• Level II fieldwork placement or outpatient rotation in hand therapy OR equivalent experience during clinical education
• Commitment to hand therapy through continuing education coursework or certifications in upper extremity rehabilitation
• Aspiration to becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with support of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Develop and progress individualized treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, custom orthotics, and patient education
• Empower patients with home programs and strategies supporting functional goals and recovery
• Collaborate closely with referring physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional outcomes
