Dignity Health - Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and quality of life, enabling safe daily activities. You will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Two (2) or more years of experience as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
Occupational Therapist: CA, upon hire and
American Heart Association BLS-CPR, within 30 Days

Responsibilities

Responds to requests for service and initiates referrals when appropriate. Following screening to determine need for intervention.
Assesses patients/residents to obtain and interpret data necessary for treatment planning and implementation per physician's orders.
Interprets evaluation findings to patients/residents, family, significant others and care team.
Develops treatment plans, including goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
Coordinates treatment plans with patients/residents, family, significant others and care team.
Implements treatment directly or supervises treatment by a certified Occupational Therapy assistant and/or an Occupational Therapy aide.
