Mercy South County Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care through organized OT programs in a hospital setting.

Applicants should have an accredited OT degree with a current license or eligibility in Missouri. BLS certification is required, with NBOT preferred. Hand therapy, custom splint fabrication and neuro experience are a plus. Emergency response capability is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Experience: Preferred Hand Therapy, Custom Splint Fabrication and Neuro experience.
• Certifications: Current BLS.
• Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred Certifications: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed occupational therapy programs.
• Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
