Job summary

Mercy South County Medical Center in St. Louis, MO seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care under the State Practice Act and Mercy policies. Graduate of an accredited OT program; license or eligibility in the hiring state (temporary license up to 90 days) is required.

Preferred experience includes Hand Therapy, custom splint fabrication, and neuro-rehabilitation. Current BLS certification is expected; must be able to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current OT license or eligibility in hiring state; may work under temporary license up to 90 days.
• Preferred Hand Therapy, custom splint fabrication and neuro experience.
• Current BLS.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs.
• Promotes growth and development of department by coordinating activities in patient care programs.
• Acts within the State Practice Act and Mercy policies.
