Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide patient care through organized, prescribed programs. You will practice within the State Practice Act and regulatory guidelines while contributing to program development at Mercy South County Medical Center.

Qualifications include an accredited OT degree, current state licensure or eligibility, and BLS; preferred hands-on therapy, neuro rehab, and splint fabrication experience. Emergency response readiness is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state.
• Preferred Hand Therapy experience and splint fabrication; neuro rehabilitation exposure.
• Current BLS certification.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs in accordance with the State Practice Act and regulations.
• Support department growth by assisting with special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
