Job summary

Mercy South County Medical Center seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver patient care across prescribed programs, evaluating needs and coordinating therapy activities in collaboration with the care team.

Candidates should hold a current OT license or eligibility in Missouri, with BLS certification and readiness to respond to emergencies. Hand therapy and custom splint fabrication experience are preferred, with NBOT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state; may work under temporary license up to 90 days.
• Experience: Preferred Hand Therapy, Custom Splint Fabrication and Neuro experience.
• Certifications: Current BLS.
• Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred Certifications: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs.
• Promote growth and development of department by coordinating activities in patient care programs.
