Job summary

Mercy South County Medical Center in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our patient-care team. You will provide therapy across prescribed programs, aligned with State Practice Act, and support department initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on treatment, splint fabrication, neuro rehab, and emergency responsiveness. Current OT license or eligibility in Missouri is required, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in Missouri.
• Preferred: Hand Therapy, Custom Splint Fabrication, Neuro rehabilitation experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs.
• Promote growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
