Acara Solutions is seeking a Hand Solder Operator II to join our electronics manufacturing team in Melbourne, FL. You will assemble and solder PCB assemblies using Through-Hole and SMT techniques, following documented procedures and ensuring high quality.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hand-soldering experience, and IPC J-STD-001 certification (active or recently expired). This shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with compensation of $20/hour depending on experience.

Follow assembly procedures, work instructions, and process documentation
Verify material integrity prior to assembly
Assemble and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards using Through-Hole and Surface Mount Technology techniques
Inspect circuit board assemblies to determine soldering requirements and ensure quality standards are met
Pre-form component leads according to process specifications
Identify, document, and report defective components or materials
Maintain accuracy of work-in-process documentation and production records
Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and surrounding workspace
Maintain ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) compliance within the production environment
Understand and follow all ISO standards and job‑specific procedures
Support continuous quality and process improvement efforts
Assist with training and mentoring other employees as needed
