Duties & Responsibilities:
Hand finish a wide variety of metal parts and castings for the aerospace and semiconductor industries
Use hand and power tools to grind, sand, clean, break edges, and deburr parts in preparation for further finishing
Knowledge & Abilities:
Proficient in the use of deburring and hand-finishing tools including right angle grinders, die grinders, orbital sanders, and air pens (manual and power)
Knowledge and use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Lee plug installation tools
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
0-3 years of hand finishing experience preferred
Ability to read and comprehend English preferred
Physical Requirements:
Steady hand-eye coordination
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to twist/turn upper body as needed
Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
