Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Hampton Inn Chicago Tinley Park. You will oversee daily hotel operations, partner with the General Manager, and drive revenue while managing costs to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive hotel experience in Rooms or F&B OR a 4-year degree with 2–3 years experience OR a 2-year degree with 3–4 years experience.
• Supervisory background required.
• Must hold/c obtain required certifications (Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid).

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Captain of Collaboration: Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by skillfully managing teams and partnering with the General Manager to keep everything running smoothly.

• Talent Scout & Coach: Play a key role in recruiting, hiring, and training Guest Services staff, and help all team members—from managers to hourly employees—grow through exciting development programs and ongoing training.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• At least five years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or Food & Beverage), or a four-year degree with 2–3 years, or a two-year degree with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Supervisory background required.
• Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure.
• Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
