Job summary

Deer Park Health and Rehab is seeking a licensed Hairdresser/Beautician to provide professional grooming and hair care services for residents. The role emphasizes elderly-friendly care and creating a comforting salon experience that promotes dignity and well-being.

Responsibilities include performing haircuts, shampoos, styles, perms, and color treatments; maintaining a sanitary salon; coordinating scheduling with nursing and activities staff; and ensuring infection control.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina cosmetology license required.
• Experience working with geriatric or long-term care residents preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
