Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is seeking a professional hairstylist to deliver luxury salon experiences. You will greet guests, discuss hair preferences, perform cuts, color, and styling, and maintain high hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have a cosmetology license, at least one year in a luxury spa, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays. Excellent English and client relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license valid in any US state.
• Minimum one year spa/salon experience, preferably luxury.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hair services including cuts, color, and styling per client request.
• Greet clients, discuss preferences, and tailor treatments.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the salon and tools.
• Build client relationships to drive repeat visits and bookings.
• Coordinate with management to ensure product availability and salon readiness.

Responsibilities

• Making guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of by handling all guest interactions promptly and efficiently.
• Discuss client preferences, hair type, and face shape to recommend styles. Consulting with clients to determine desired style,
• Provide hair services on guests based on their request, including but not limited to blowdrys,haircuts, hair color, and extensions.
• Perform cuts, trims, layers, and shaves. Apply color, highlights, ombre, balayage, and perform chemical texturizing. Blow-dry, curl, straighten, braid, and create updos for everyday and formal looks.
• Offer scalp treatments, deep conditioning, and educate clients on hair care
• Stay updated on the latest hairstyles, techniques, and products.
• Continuously improve technical and interpersonal skills.
• Develop strong relationships to ensure repeat business, build client loyalty, and assist with bookings.
• Communicating with management and leads to make sure the salon is at it's best performing state and all necessary products are ordered and on par.
• Setting up, operating, and cleaning all equipment in the salon. Prepares the hair stations with the necessary supplies, sets up and breakdown service area.
• Clean and sterilize tools and workstations to meet health standards.
• Responsible for ensuring guests’ experience is flawless
• Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cosmetology License in any US state required.
• Previous Spa/Salon experience preferred, especially in a luxury environment.
• Minimum one year previous experience required.
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Work authorization for the location is required.
• Proficiency in the English language
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. This will include some evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
