Job summary

SBH seeks a Certified Color Consultant to deliver expert hair color consultations and exceptional customer service in-store. You will drive color category sales, assist with product recommendations, and support the team with training and store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ year retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear, concise manner.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Ability to execute product knowledge from training to support with customer service.
• Ability to explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Comprehensive knowledge of iPad and navigation of the internet and social media platforms.
• Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide an optimal customer experience and support DIY customers with hair color goals.
• Introduce customers to the Hair Color category and offer color consultations.
• Handle daily operations, sales transactions, and loss prevention practices.
• Support the team with planograms, training, and product knowledge.
• Mentor new associates and contribute to a inclusive store environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and uphold safety standards.
