Madison Reed in Summit, NJ seeks a Hair Color Bar Assistant, Licensed Cosmetologist to support Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead, assisting with consultations, color services, shampooing, conditioning, and product education while learning for promotion to Licensed Colorist.

The role offers base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with potential earnings for this location ranging from $28 - $29 per hour. Availability at peak times is required; benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail; salon/beauty industry preferred.
• Effective communication, problem solving and people skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Assist in finishing services and shampooing/conditioning, styling, blowouts, hot tool styling, and toner applications per guest request.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals including retail, services, and memberships.
• Ensure Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security standards.
• Adhere to Madison Reed policies and procedures.
• Help drive revenue through additional services and memberships.
• Support Colorist training and growth toward licensed role.
