The State of Illinois, Department of Human Services, invites applications for a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) at Mabley Developmental Center in Dixon. You will serve as the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) leader for an assigned shift, monitor progress toward habilitation goals, and coordinate services inside and outside the center.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a human services field (MD/DO or RN also acceptable) and at least one year of relevant experience; UMP

Qualifikationen

• Requires bachelor’s degree in human services field; MD/DO or RN also qualifies.
• One (1) year of experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• This class is included as an Upward Mobility Program credential title.

Aufgaben

• Serves as the professional Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) leader for an assigned shift in an assigned home.
• Monitors, reviews, and evaluates individual program data to assess progress toward habilitation goals and objectives.
• Observes individuals during daily living activities and active treatment.
• Coordinates services to implement active habilitation according to the plan.
• Conducts in-service and workshops for employees for ongoing training and promotions.
• Serves on committees at the center or statewide.
• Performs other duties within scope.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's degree in human services professional field

Doctor of medicine or osteopathy or RN qualifies
