Job summary

Illinois Department of Human Services seeks a Habilitation Program Coordinator at the Murray Development Center in Centralia, IL. The role acts as a QIDP and team leader for an interdisciplinary group, monitoring progress toward habilitation goals and ensuring program compliance.

You will guide assigned teams, coordinate services inside and outside the Center, and contribute to ongoing staff training and development.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of direct experience with persons with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
• A doctor of medicine/osteopathy or RN also meets education and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP).
• Leads interdisciplinary teams on assigned shift and cottage.
• Monitors and evaluates program data to assess progress toward habilitation goals.
• Provides guidance to teams and conducts program compliance assessments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human services professional field (e.g., sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, psychology)

Doctor of medicine or osteopathy or registered nurse qualification acceptable
