Job summary

University of Miami is seeking an Instructor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine with a subspecialty focus in Gynecologic Pathology to join our hospital-based academic medical environment. The candidate will provide expert diagnostic services, participate in education of trainees, and contribute to translational research and quality initiatives.

Applicants must be MD/DO, board certified/eligible in AP, and licensed in Florida or eligible for MFC; strong clinical leadership and scholarly activity

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology.
• Fellowship in Gynecologic Pathology preferred.
• Strong educational track and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnostic services in Gynecologic Pathology across UMH/JMH and affiliated sites.
• Interpret gross, histology, and ancillary studies with accuracy.
• Lead teaching for medical students and residents; participate in tumor boards.
• Contribute to quality assurance and process improvement.
